1. Core official requirements

2. Discharge C‑rate selection

This 110 mm inrunner EDF draws very high peak current.

  • Minimum: 40C continuous
  • Recommended: 50C‑60C continuous (better voltage hold under full throttle, less battery heat)

Avoid 30C packs: they will sag heavily at full power and risk puffing.

3. Battery physical size (critical for fit & CG)

You need two identical‑size 6S packs. Too big will not fit; too heavy will mess up CG.

  • Target per‑pack dimension (typical for 6S 6000 mAh 50‑60C hard‑case): approx 165‑175 mm(L) × 45‑50 mm(W) × 50‑55 mm(H)
  • Weight per 6S‑6000 mAh 50C pack: ~920‑960 g; total two packs ~1840‑1920 g

4. Practical options & flight time

  1. 2×6S 5000 mAh 50‑60C: Lighter, better vertical performance, shorter flight (~3.5‑4.5 min mixed throttle)
  2. 2×6S 6000 mAh 50‑60C (factory suggestion): Best balanced choice, flight ~4.5‑5.5 min mixed flying

Do NOT go above 6000 mAh per pack: excess weight degrades take‑off, landing and CG.

5. Charging & safety notes

  • Charger must support 6‑cell LiPo charging (charge each 6S pack individually, never charge them while series‑connected in‑plane)
  • LiPo storage voltage: 3.80 V per cell after flight
  • Land at 3.4‑3.5 V per‑cell under load; never fly below 3.2 V/cell resting
  • Use high‑quality EC5 connectors; check for heat/melting after hard flights.
